Sesame Street Live made it's WVU debut at the WVU Coliseum in April 1989. The beloved muppets of Sesame Street performed six shows titled "Big Bird Goes Hollywood" for a total of 13,300 fans between Thursday, April 13 and Sunday, April 16. 

Sesame Street Live would perform one more time in the Coliseum before moving to the Lyell B. Clay Theatre of the WVU Canady Creative Arts Center where it typically rolls into town every other year to entertain its newest crop of young fans.
