When Restless Heart opened for Hank Williams Jr. at the Coliseum in February 1988, they were the hottest new group to come out of Nashville, having just charted two consecutive No. 1 hits with "That Rock Won't Roll" and "Wheels." Lead singer Larry Stewart credited the fans in attendance for helping the band to achieve this success.

When Hank Williams Jr. took the stage, the crowd responded with a standing ovation that lasted a full 10 minutes. Bocephus rewarded fans with what the Emily Horvat, of the "Weirton Daily Times," described as an "incredible supercharged live show." His concert featured his rowdy country-rock anthems as well as several of his father's classic hits. Many of those classic hits were performed without his band–just Hank Jr. and his guitar.
