On February 27, 2014, some 4,100 fans enjoyed the ultimate jam session with
folk rockers The Avett Brothers and their special guest Old Crow Medicine
Show.
Newly-inducted Grand Ole Opry members Old Crow Medicine Show knew they were among friends as soon as they took the stage to open the show. Lead singer Keith Secor told the crowd, "We play fiddles and banjos. What better place on God’s green earth to play fiddles and banjos than West Virginia?” You can imagine the audience response, especially when the band introduced their guitarist Chance McCoy, who hails from Harpers Ferry, W.Va. Of course, an Old Crow Medicine Show set would not be complete without "Wagon Wheel" and the band did not disappoint. |

The Avett Brothers captivated the crowd with their fan favorites “Down With The
Shine,” “Morning Song” and “Laundry Room.” The band had released its eighth
studio album, “Magpie and the Dandelion,” the previous year. It debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Top 200 and featured the
single “Another Is Waiting,” which reached No. 6 on the Adult Alternative
Songs chart.
