This film is a Bollywood version of Jane Austen’s classic romance Pride and Prejudice. The Indian village of Diaspora replaces Austin’s England and Mrs. Bennett is now Mrs. Bakshi but she is still in earnest search of a suitable husband for her daughters. When the headstrong daughter Lalita meets American hotel magnate Will Darcy the sparks fly, but can the two overcome pride and prejudice to let love work its magic.
