Sonya King
9:00pm

Welcome to life in the slow lane! Sonya King wants you to slow down and smell the laughter. Her deadpan funny stand-up act took off when she won first place in a small comedy competition in California and she has been hooked ever since. Originally from Selma, Alabama, she moved and grew up in sunny San Diego—which in itself provided a healthy dose of dry, yet hilarious humor. Have you ever met a banjo-rocking Californian?

King has done voice-over work, has written for radio, and even has her own weekly radio segment on Cumulus Media. She won first place in the Carnival Cruise Competition and has appeared on Good Morning America and The View.
